Open Source Community

We want to unlock the potential of open source to create solutions that inspire and endure.
We want to unlock the potential of open source to create solutions that inspire and endure.
Through GitHub, GitLab, Matrix chat, as well as meetups and community events, we stay in close exchange with open-source developers and tech enthusiasts.
This creates an active network where knowledge is shared and innovation is driven forward together – benefiting our customers just as much as the open-source community.

Open Source Projects

Whenever possible, we make our projects available to the open-source community under an open-source license on our own GitLab instance or on GitHub.

GitLab

Our GitLab instance hosts community projects that are actively maintained either by the community or by us.
To prevent spam, we’ve enabled a closed registration system on our GitLab instance. To create an account, please request an invitation link using the button below.

GitHub

Public open-source projects and forks on GitHub
When we contribute to existing open-source projects or publish open-source software without requiring registration, we release them under our GitHub organization.

Matrix Chat Federation

This enables direct expert-to-expert communication – especially in projects, it ensures efficient collaboration and smooth communication.
1

Chat Basics

To connect with our Matrix instance, you need a user account from a Matrix account provider. You can choose any provider you like. In this example, we use the public and free provider offered by the Matrix.org Foundation.

More information and chat basics can be found at matrix.org.

2

Create a Matrix Account

To register for a Matrix account with the Matrix.org Foundation, you need a client app. You can start with the web app Element and switch to another client at any time later.

Visit app.element.io and click “Create Account.”

3

After logging in to the Element app with your new Matrix account, you can join our public Matrix room.
Select "Element" as the app. You’ll then be asked if you want to join the room – click “Join Discussion.”
